Mike Wins and Plays with Tesla!
You wonder...wha???? Well, Mike
saw an opportunity of a lifetime come up, and he seized it. For
those of you who didn't hear it, he called 98.9 The Rock when
he heard about the contest. From there, he ended up as one of
the three finalists for a chance to play on stage at the Beaumont
Club on April 23rd with the band, Tesla. Well, as he does at every
show, he slayed the listeners, and won. He played the last two
songs with the band, and actually tore up the solo on one! He
also met with Frank Hannon (lead guitarist) and picked up pointers,
swapped ideas, and worked on "Signs" and "Little
Susie" for the show. He met the other members, too. Mike
said they were so cool and down-to-earth to talk with.
